Large 6.0" inch (approximate) custom made unpainted wood Musky / Surf fishing lure bodies with through hole, belly hole and eye sockets

Precision Turned and hand surfaced, wooden fishing lure body.
Sanded to a very smooth finish.

A Cigar shaped lure with just the right size lure for most Musky / Pike and Surf Fishing.
Excellent as a top water walk-the-dog lure. Just add some tail weight as needed to make it sit somewhat vertically nose up, between 25~45 degree angle.
(or) Add weight hole just behind belly and insert a 3/8"Oz ballast to make it a glide bait which floats the lure horizantal at rest.
Other variations for glide bait:
Add weight on the underside of the lure just ahead of the belly hole and another weight at 1.5" from the tail/rear end.
Modify as per your situation.

Optional Sealer Coat :
A sealer coat on the turned wood adds water resistance, smooth texture, reduces paint absorption and makes better paint finish.

Wood: Made from a fine grain, light weight, maple colored ivory wood.
Is light, buoyant and strong to withstand big fish.
Easy to drill. Add ballast weight for buoyancy adjustment.
Excellent for making custom topwater and tail weighted baits

Finishing the lure is now simpler with the included through hole, eye sockets and belly hole
Add the required amount of weighting where needed
Dip in a sealer and once dried, add some paint, affix 3D eyes you want and a final clear coat
Install the through wire and required hardware and now you have a great custom bait.

Through wire: 0.063" OD or 0.051" OD

Hooks: 3/0 or 2/0 depending on the target species and may vary slightly

Swivels: size #3 (test 64lbs)
Note: If using larger swivels for added strength, size #1 (69 lbs) or size #2/0 (125lbs), then you need to pinch one of the swivel ends slightly with a plier so it can fit through the belly grommet.

Wood: Made using Red Cedar timber. Highly buoyant and light weight makes it easy to cast long. Easy to drill. Add ballast weight for buoyancy adjustment. Excellent for making custom topwater and weighted sinking baits.
